Be pampered with an all inclusive creative experience at The Seed Creative Workshops, an art studio in beautiful Port Macquarie NSW. This special weekend is a time to connect, create, and heal. You will be immersed in clay, learning a variety of hand building techniques which will lead to creating a Healing Goddess. All meals, supplies, glazing and firings, a goody bag full of art supplies and a new apron included.

What is a Healing Goddess? Words from our Potter Dee...

We will incorporate the found flowers from our walk by making impressions into your clay. Adorn your Goddess with Up-cycling old and broken jewellery.

Place old pictures, notes, your thoughts, memories, etc. into your vessel and start a flame. Allow the burning process to be part of the ritual of holding space, processing and allowing or whatever needs to happen for a sense of safety and healing.

If you would like to work on your trauma, this is the perfect weekend for you. Hold space within yourself by sculpting a female figure out of clay.

Saturday

10am- Welcome! Tour and drinks

10:30- Healing Goddess introduction

11:00- Pottery Session with Dee

12:00- Lunch catered

1:00- Continue handbuilding your goddess

3:00- Wild Flower & Weed Walk with Jemma

4:00- Cocktails and Nibblies

4:00- Continue handbuilding your goddess

6:30- Dinner catered

8:30- Sound healing drumming session with Vic

The magic begins at our art studio on Saturday morning where you’ll get a tour of the space, open your goodie bag, put on your new apron (to keep!) and grab a coffee/tea to get you comfortable for our Healing Goddess Introduction. Our professional potter Dee Jones will introduce her Healing Goddess and discuss the powerful creating process. You will start your creative journey using your hands to mould a clay form. We’ll keep you fed and hydrated throughout the day as you continue clay construction with Dee through the afternoon. At 3pm, stretch your legs and go for a wild flower weed bush walk down the Googik Track, a beautiful paved track a short walk from our studio. After a delicious Thai dinner, you’ll be relaxed into a calm state with Vic (Healer from Liminal Studio) who will guide you on a healing sound drum journey. If you are not staying on site, you are welcome to leave before or after this session.

Sunday starts with a big breakfast complete with bacon & eggs, pancakes, fruit, croissants and toast. Dee will teach you how to bring it all together and join your clay pieces the proper way. You’ll have a delicious lunch followed with some down time to finish your constructing your healing goddess, read a book, chat with new friends or all of the above! We’ll finish the day with an optional underglaze on your pottery or let us fire, glaze and post out your pottery (additional cost).

Accommodation: we like to call it our ‘boho-glamping’ mezzanine. We invite you to stay on site from Friday evening in our cute teepees stocked with fresh linens, towel and washer, and a comfortable foam single bed. BYO pillow and extra blanket if you'd like. We have 2 bathrooms on site and 1 hot shower. We have an espresso machine, 2 refrigerators and plenty of space to explore and create. If you choose to stay off site, please return by 9 so you don't miss out on the delicious food and creating!

The meals are wholesome, made with love and to order. If you have any dietary restrictions let us know. We're happy to take care of you! Just add it in the food request text area when booking your ticket. Include any dietary requirements and favourite drinks (non and alcoholic ;) so you feel right at home.

If you’re interested in hosting your own private art retreat let’s talk! Great for groups of 4-20 people. You choose what activities and the date. We provide tuition in a variety of mediums with the option of catering and overnight accommodation.
